Learning event description

This NEW bespoke learning event has been developed with ICE, to support MHA members who are undertaking the project sponsor role. The event will be delivered by David Harrison, who provides specialist services to the construction industry. David has designed and delivered a range of learning on behalf of Thomas Telford (ICE), including their project management, partnering, alliancing and collaborative working

The learning content will emphasise

• the need for executive engagement;
• liaison with stakeholders;
• communication of the organisation’s vision;
• clearly understood deliverables;  and
• life cycle management

without crossing the line into micromanagement

Target audience

Managers who are undertaking the project sponsor role; managers who want to develop additional project skills; managers who need to understand the role of the project sponsor.
